22.08.2023 By the end of last year, SAM commissioned and ramped-up the new PML 11 coating line at Schattdecor ‘s site in Lexington, South Carolina. The line is individually designed for the production of thermoplastic foils and pre-impregnated décor papers, ranging in weights of 30 – 120g/m2 and widths of max. 1570mm.
Besides specific design solutions of the
line as well as its nearly limitless versatility, a major focus was put on the
environmental friendly and sustainable execution and operation of the line.
Martin Reil, Project Manager of
Schattdecor, highlights: ”after a thoroughly conducted assessment of various
machine vendors, we awarded SAM as the supplier of the line. With an utmost
professional approach throughout the whole project, SAM has proven to be a
leader in the in the first league of globally operating coating machinery
suppliers.”
