  Ii deposits one or several liquid layers on a flexible web through a number of various coating heads and subsequently dries, and cures to form a solid film that serves specific functions. The wet thickness of the coated films ranges from 1 to 100 §­ according to the types of coating heads used for particular applications depending on the desired range of adhesive coat weight, the required coat quality, and line speed.
